Joel Walker

Joel Walker has, since the sixties, played double bass in folk groups, Big Band orchestras and jazz groups, as well as in folk, Cajun, and bluegrass ensembles.

Joel’s vocals, orginal songs and bass line are an important part of The Fugitive Poets’ signature sound. Joel writes some great tunes and literally rocks the stage with his vigorous bass playing.

He’s a real modern-day cowboy, and when you don’t see him with the Poets you, he’s probably somewhere out west on a motorcycle.
